Brent van der Ven, founder of Dutch Tennis Academy, has lived and breathed tennis since the age of seven. Competing at the highest youth level in the Netherlands, he reached the top 30 in the under 16 category before continuing his journey in Singapore and the United States. There, he played college tennis while earning his degree in International Business and Management.
After a few years in corporate roles, Brent realised his true passion remained on the court. He earned his ITF tennis coaching license through an extensive six-month program and later added a Spanish padel coaching certification. With over five years of coaching experience in the Netherlands, he moved to Dubai to continue sharing his passion for both tennis and padel.
What began as a few private lessons across Dubai has grown into the Dutch Tennis Academy, a place where players of all ages and levels can train in a professional yet welcoming environment. Today, the academy combines on court expertise with a strong focus on both the technical and mental aspects of the game, offering lessons across the city as well as at two dedicated venues: one for tennis and one for padel.
Brent’s international playing experience and professional coaching background allow him to connect with players at every stage, from beginners learning the fundamentals to competitive athletes striving to reach their full potential. His vision is simple: to spread the joy of tennis and padel while helping players develop their skills, build confidence, and discover a lifelong passion for the sport.
